What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a Sanskrit term meaning “Science of Life” and it is known as the Sister science to Yoga. Ayurveda is a natural healing system that has been practiced in Indian and around the world for more than 5,000 years. In today’s modern world mass amounts of people are suffering with stress, fatigue, digestive issues, depression, anxiety and seeking for the aim of life, and solutions. What is the real meaning of life? According to Ayurveda when our physical body, organs, heart, mind and spirit are in harmony, and working optimally, that is a great life! And likewise with yoga, when we feel good in our body, we are able to go off of our yoga mat and live our our lives to our fullest potential. So you can so how multi-dimensional true health is! Ayurveda looks at preservation of health, and then also to treat imbalances or disorders with natural resources to help give relief to pain and suffering.
Discovering your unique constitution in an Consultation
Having studied to become an Ayurveda Wellness Counsellor, I love getting to share these ancient practices with others. A consultation will consist of a series of questions & discussion to help me determine the unique constitution that you came into the world with. It will show you where you starting and where you may need to return. As we go through life; lifestyle, diet, climate, stress, etc., can shift you away from this, and result in compromised immunity and health, we will talk about that during our consultation.
Following the consultation I will write you a detailed report with specific lifestyle & nutrition recommendations, which will be discussed during the follow up consultation.
