Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all are having a restful long weekend (for those in Canada!). Myself, I took a few days off the computer and social media to just embrace more rest and simplicity. Whenever I am feeling tired - it's a sure sign I need to go within. And when I do - the message I receive is usually quite simple and I am reminded that I truly have all I need to be well, and that all IS well.
The food our body needs to thrive is simple too! Closer to nature, and less ingredients we can't pronounce! And though simple, this smoothie is filling my metaphorical cup today!!
Here is my fav green smoothie recipe:
a handful of spinach
juice from one full lemon (sometimes I do 2 if I want it really lemony)
5 ice cubes
water (to your consistency of shake - thinner or thicker texture)
2 scoops of vanilla protein powder (I use Arbonne)
1/2 cucumber peeled
1/2 avocado for healthy fat and creaminess!
½ scoop fibre boost
1 scoop of greens balance
add the arbonne probiotic pouch (after blending)
